Zigzagging Through Snow

Zigzagging Through Snow
Pastel 11 x 14

I had the great pleasure of painting snow in a workshop with Master pastelist Frank Federico a couple of weeks ago. This painting was done on gator board prepped with gesso, pumice and a coat of bright pink gouache.

Roped In

Roped In
Pastel 10 x 10

Happy New Year everyone! I cannot close 2014 without a huge thank you to all my wonderful students and followers, the galleries that represent my work and my collectors for their continuous support and encouragement with my art. You keep me going and enrich my life! I am looking forward to full time painting in 2015 and to many exciting events that I will share with you later.

I am kicking off the year with an exhibit at the Parish Center for the Arts in Westford MA, with NOA Gallery's artists and instructors. Come and see a display of beautiful watercolors, oils, acrylics, pastels, beads and tapestry weaving from NOA's great art teachers: Suzanne Binnie, Alexia Rosoff Wilber,  Claudia Chase, Joni and Dylan Parker-Roche.

Reception at the Parish Center: Sunday 18 January from noon to 3:00pm. Hope to see many of you there to toast the new year!
Gallery hours for NOA's show are from noon to 2:00pm every Sunday through the end of January.
