Lingering behind her companion, this lady seemed to be taking her time to appreciate and smell the flowers...

The new year is time for new beginnings.  I have started a series of paintings that has been on my mind for several years. The scenes are inspired by "Street moments" that caught my eye while traveling in different countries and places in the US. This first painting is from San Miguel de Allende. I was attracted by this young man sitting amid the rusted work buckets and traffic cone while waiting for his co-workers.
