Path to the Villa - Pastel 9 x 12
I recently returned from a memorable trip to Tuscany. This country road lined with cypress trees and poppies led to the villa we rented on Sienna's hillside.
The last of my forsythia mini series. A beautiful profusion of yellow to be enjoyed while it lasts! These bushes are now an undistinguishable green among other bushes.
This painting is also available at the Yarmouth Gallery for the "Key to Contrasts" show which will be on until September 2018.
Another scene of forsythia in bloom before they all turn green.
This painting is available at the Yarmouth Gallery for the "Key to Contrasts" show. The Artists Opening Reception is on May 19, 4:00 to 7:00PM. Come and enjoy the show which will be on until September.
After a long winter, spring burst alive in just one week. I set up my easel and painting gear on my porch and painted this forsythia bush in its full yellow glory in my back yard. New England is at its best in the spring!
Painting the streets of San Miguel de Allende was just pure eye candy!
