Taking a break from painting snow. I have been feeling a great need for color in these recent dreary winter days. No better painting subject than the most amazing blazes of color that cover the landscape of the Netherlands in April. I photographed these yellow tulip rows while on the train from Amsterdam to Amersfoort.
