It is during this holiday season that I feel most nostalgic about my native Normandy. This early morning scene in the Salines on the coast, is to remind me of a wonderful family gathering this fall, hiking through this sheep salt meadow as the haze slowly lifted.

Happy Holidays!
Wishing my family, friends and collectors a wonderful holiday season filled with joy, peace and love. I am so grateful to have you all in my life!
It is winter in New England and the sun sets by mid afternoon. Too early in the day but still spectacular most days at the Fruitlands Museum's overlook.
One of my paintings on display at the 4 The Love of Pastel exhibit at the Wild Salamander Creative Arts in Hollis, NH. The show is on until November 4, 2019. Don't miss it if you live nearby. It is a beautiful show.

Quiet Day on Squirrel Island - Pastel 8 x 10
Back to Maine for the summer! I have new paintings in the Celebration exhibit at Yarmouth Frame And Gallery llc. The show runs through September 28th and is co-hosted with the Royal River Conservation Trust. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Trust. It is a great show. I hope you get a chance to see it!
It had been over 20 years since I last spent time in Portugal. Much has changed with the amazing tourist boom taking place all over the country but the medieval village of Obidos - though much visited - still holds its timeless charm. This lovely corner street scene away from the touristy main street was meant for me!
My name is Joelle Levallet-Feldman. I was born and raised in Normandy, France and return every year to visit family and friends and rediscover the endless supply of inspiring scenes, each begging to be painted. Inspiration is also abundant in my adopted New England home, where the coast of Maine, orchards of Massachusetts and charming architecture are welcoming to any artist.
Media: oil, pastel and watercolor.
