There are many intriguing and spectacular entryways lined with cypress trees in the Provencal countryside. You get curious and want to walk down the path to check out what the house hiding around the bend looks like. These entryways are usually private and you just have to leave your curiosity to your imagination. I could not go beyond the open gate of this private property in the village of Tourtour but there was no sign that said I couldn't paint it!

    Wow, Joelle, you have painted it just like I remember! A very lovely painting. I do wish we could have walked down the road and seen what the house looked like.

    I am amazed at how peaceful and happy this piece makes me feel! I just adore it! As the niece of Bernard Chaet, having been raised surrounded by art, I know a masterpiece when I see it. So happy to be the proud owner. Thank you Joelle Suzanne Chaet and Jay Lieske!
